What to expect during your Health Consultation Dr. Edwards, a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy, will gather a medical history, inquire about your diet and lifestyle, discuss any stress you are experiencing, administer various non-invasive tests designed to evaluate body conditions and advise you concerning your condition. You will experience techniques, which are consistent with traditional naturopathy and its philosophy. He may also use other holistic therapies that he's been trained in over his many years of experience in health care. These will enable him to reveal the root cause of your condition and nerture your body back into a holistic balance so that it may correct and maintain any problems you are having now and prevent them from occurring in the future. These options, along with being non-invasive, and non-pharmaceutical, are designed to assist the body so that it can heal itself. In actuality, Traditional Naturopathy is the traditional approach in the pursuit of good health. And with the time Dr. Edwards spends with you to collect the information he needs to evaluate your condition, he will not only get to know you as a patient , but a person as well... Wellness Check-ups:
You should have a check-up 4 times per year, each time the season's change. Why you ask? Well, to begin with the weather conditions outside are changing, we may be wearing more or less clothing that changes our exposure to the elements. The other reason is that the source of our food will also change as our surrounding environment changes. We also know that change can equal to stress. - So time for a check-up, clean-up and system balance... Just like nature... |
